Leadership

Since 2003, Tom Homans has been the full-time director of the CCC.

Walter Smith has been the assistant director since 2013. Together, they operate the ministry along with Tom's wife, Cindy, and their daughters Julie, Elizabeth, and Alicia.

Tom writes:

"One summer day in 1988, I was invited by a friend to visit the Mission. I was impressed by this ministry which welcomed over 50 children from the neighborhood to come play in the yard, eat snacks, hear Bible messages, and then go swimming at the Horn's (the directors at the time) private pool. "What a unique and awesome ministry," I thought. During that one day I was encouraged by the staff and the Horns to come back, which I did. And now, 30 years later, I'm still coming. It has been the joy of my life to serve at the CCC and it is where I met my wife, Cindy. God has blessed us with three daughters who are now grown and assist in the ministry."
